the combat system in stargate worlds

The combat system in sgw mmorpg will be much different from other mmorpgs in traditional MMO's players usually stand toe to toe and fight it out, and whoever has the most hit-points and can deal the most damage per scond is likely to win, However in stargate worlds the combat will be much like a First person shoot em up you will still be able to melee attack however as enemy fire is often deadlly even low leveled players can pose a high risk of death to those of a higher level. This means the combat area will be alot less forgiving and you will have to use cover and a variety of ranged attacks to kill you're enemy, using tactics such as flanking to flush out other players will be an effective strategy but watch as other NPC's will also do this to yourself meaning you will need to think tactically to win battles.

grouping combat

With the combat system being more tactically advanced than other MMO's the grouping feature will be alot more advanced meaning that you can co-ordinate attacks on the battlefield this should help prevent the grind involved and bring together better grouping meaning that it will no longer ust be whoever can bash the buttons the fastest. A robust command control interface will enable squad leaders to attacks, ambushes and retreats

artificial intelligence

In most other MMORPG's MOB's are usually rather "dumb" , The developers have designed an AI system which will give Mobs abilities much like a human player, mobs will react and try to outsmart the human player by flanking them, the MOBS will have different responses depending on the what the human does and where the human player(s) are situated gone are the days when you can draw every MOB to one place and kill them all.
