Crafting plays a major role in most MMORPG's and Stargate Worlds will be the exact same with a large variety of alien technology available to every race and with the ability to gather resources meaning the crafting system will be an exciting one. Players may be able to construct mining operations to extract mass amounts of raw materials such as Trinium and Naquadah.

It is also believed that reverse engineering will play a big part in developing new skills, players will be allowed to rip apart alien technology and learn new skills and even use components to build other items. Crafting also will no longer be a solo effort you will be able to group together to build bigger items and utulizing the idfferent skils and man power from many different characters.

So far there are only three confirmed crafting skills Goa'Uld, Human & Asgard, however it has been confirmed that there are 4 cskill trees it is widely believed that Ancient Technology will be the 4th skill. Players will level up as they craft more gaining access to more blueprints as they craft, it is also believed that players will be allowed craft items from other cultures.
